【Description】:

CLiQSPERSE CG is a wetting agent for non-aqueous coatings and inks. It is based on an electroneutral salt of a polycarboxylic acid and is recommended for non-polar and mid-polar systems to improve wetting of all kind of pigments or extenders.

CLiQSPERSE CG acts as controlled flocculant and strongly reduces pigment floating and flooding in paints and inks. It markedly improves anti-settling behaviour and storage stability of solventborne systems.

CLiQSPERSE CG acts synergistically with organically modified smectite clays to improve antisettling and sag resistance of coating systems. It is highly recommended as activator for organoclays to produce stable, low viscous and pumpable non-aqueous pre-gels.

CLiQSPERSECG provides excellent delamination of the organoclay already at moderate activation shear forces.

【Level of Use / Incorporation】:

CLiQSPERSE CG is best dispersed with pigments and fillers for maximum efficiency; post-addition is possible if incorporation shear is sufficient. A loading level of 0.1 – 2.0 % on total is recommended to improve pigment compatibility in solventborne systems. A loading level between 2 - 20 % is recommended if used as wetting agent in pigment concentrates.

CLiQSPERSE CG is best added to an organically modified smectite pre-gel after initial wetting and dispersion of the organoclay. A loading level between 30 - 50 % based on organoclay weight is recommended.
