【Description】:

CLiQSPERSE CA is a wetting and dispersing agent for low- to medium polar non-aqueous systems and recommended for direct grinding of pigments in a coatings millbase. It is a 50% active material based on a salt of a polycarbonic acid with polyamines.

CLiQSPERSE CA is a deflocculant and strongly improves colour and gloss development with all kind of pigments. It strongly reduces millbase viscosity, pigment floating and flooding and markedly improves anti-settling behaviour and storage stability of solvent-borne systems.

CLiQSPERSE CA is highly recommended as activator for organoclays to produce stable, low viscous and pumpable non-aqueous pre-gels. CLiQSPERSE CA provides excellent delamination of the organoclay and supports the activation already at low shear forces.

【Level of Use / Incorporation】:

CLiQSPERSE CA is best dispersed in the millbase together with pigments and fillers for maximum efficiency. A loading level of 0.2 - 1.0% (calculatedon pigment) is recommended for inorganicpigments and a loading level of 1.0 - 5.0% is recommended for organic pigments to improve pigment compatibility in solventborne systems.

CLiQSPERSE CA is best added to an organically modified smectite pre-gel after initial wetting and dispersion of the organoclay. A loading level between 30 - 50% based on organoclay weight is recommended.
