Sales executives of Titanos Group have called a conference last Friday, putting forward an overview of the company's marketing plans for the coming year.

Jin Zhengyuan, Deputy Sales Manager of Shanghai Titanos Industry Co. Ltd., said on the meeting that fierce competition is expected in this year’s titanium dioxide market. However, he also pointed out the opportunities coming with the ever-increasing down-stream demands.

“Despite last year’s declining global market, China’s total output of coating industry has risen by 11.79 percent over last year's same period to 12.72 million tons,” he said. “As China’s largest supplier of titanium dioxide, Titanos provide customers with first-class products and services, which can ensure a good performance in the coming year.”

General Manager Ning Kecheng also made a detailed analysis of this year’s market conditions and pointed out that the expected imbalance between supply and demand will lead to overcapacity and intense price competition.

“The industry may face dilemmas caused by merging and reorganization in the coming year, and some suppliers of low quality products may have to reduce output or even shut down the business,” he said.

According to Ning, Titanos would try to remain competitive with abundant supply of high quality products at reasonable price as well as best services for every customer. He called at the end of the meeting for joint efforts by all the Titanos staff to reach an outstanding achievement in 2013.
