Kaolin is a natural mineral powder material,because of its stable chemical properties, high whiteness, and fine grain size, it has wide application in coatings, plastics, rubber, paper, ceramics and other fields. Calcined Kaolin

Calcined Kaolin features a fine particle size and excellent hiding power, providing outstanding extending properties for titanium dioxide (TiO₂). It offers excellent dispersibility and suspension stability, effectively helping to prevent sedimentation and improve the storage stability of coatings. It also enhances the scrub resistance, abrasion resistance, and weatherability of coatings.

Water-Washed Kaolin

Water-Washed Kaolin is a medium- to high-whiteness product. Washing with dispersants helps remove metal oxides and other impurities. It has an average particle size of 0.2–1.5 μm, making it suitable for high-gloss and flat coatings, with relatively low oil absorption.

It helps enhance hiding power while reducing the required dosage of titanium dioxide (TiO₂). The particles have a stacked, plate-like structure resembling platelets, with each individual particle exhibiting a hexagonal shape.
