According to customs data, in December 2024, China exported 158,400 tons of titanium dioxide, a month-on-month increase of 6.09% and a year-on-year increase of 10.53%; from January to December 2024, China exported a total of about 1.9017 million tons of titanium dioxide, a year-on-year increase of 15.84%, an increase of about 260,000 tons.
According to customs data, in December 2024, the import volume of titanium dioxide was 7250.35 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 35.02% and a month-on-month increase of 8.20%; from January to December 2024, China imported a total of 91,900 tons of titanium dioxide, a year-on-year increase of 8.84%, an increase of about 7,464 tons.
Among them, 3040.04 tons of sulfuric acid titanium dioxide were imported, a month-on-month increase of 2.56%. The top three importing countries were: Japan, Australia, and Malaysia.
In December, the import of chloride titanium dioxide was 4,210.31 tons, a month-on-month increase of 12.67%. The top three importing countries were: the United States, Mexico, and Australia.
