The Third Technical Seminar of Color Masterbatch and Multi-functional Masterbatch Processing and Application opened on June 24 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province. Xu Xingxiang, Secretary General of Shanghai Plastics Engineering Technology Academy, announced the seminar open.

Wang Zhongwen, Manager General of Zhejiang Qiselu Masterbatch Co., Ltd, addressed the meeting on technical standard of polyester fiber masterbatch. He said a clear standard is necessary for masterbatch manufacturers to know chemical fiber’s process element and quality requirements. With this problem solved, masterbatch manufacturers will be able to offer better products by improving color and processability while lowering the dyeing cost.

Color masterbatch is a solid or liquid additive for coloring plastics. Color masterbatch allows the processor to color raw polymer economically during the plastics manufacturing process.
