Kronos Worldwide, Inc. recently announced a price increase for all titanium dioxide products sold in Europe, Asia-Pacific area, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

Effective June 1, 2013, or as permitted by contract, prices for all Kronos titanium dioxide products sold in Western Europe and Turkey will be increased by a minimum of 200 Euro per metric ton (or equivalent in other currencies), and in North America and other areas by US$250 per metric ton.

Current price for titanium dioxide products in domestic market is RMB14,000 to 17,000 (US$2,276.9 to 2,764.8) per metric ton and that in international market is US$4,000 to 4,400 per metric ton. Kronos paint-grade titanium dioxide products charge for RMB21,000 per metric ton.
