2014 National Plastics Coloring and Masterbatch Academy-, Technology- and Trade-symposium opens on Oct 14 in Xiamen, China. Over 200 masterbatch manufacturers and industry experts attend the meeting.

NATIONAL MASTERBATCH ASSOCIATION Secretary-general Qiao Hui made a report on the current situation and development of China’s masterbatch industry. She pointed out that safety in production and eco-friendly production process are two main topics within recent years.
Annual output of masterbatch in China has surpassed 0.75 million tonne in 2013 and the products have witnessed a qualitative leap in both performance and functionality. Multi-functional masterbatch products, which greatly help with the performance improvement as well as industrial transformation and upgrading, are playing an increasingly important role in plastics manufacturing.
