Representatives from JIANGXI TIKON TITANIUM visit Shanghai on 12th August and hold a technical discussion with TITANOS representatives focusing on TIKON's titanium dioxide products and their applications.

 

Chen Hao, TIKON's Manager-general Assistant, made a substantial introduction about current status and development of TIKON, the only titanium dioxide manufacturer in Jiangxi Province which covers an area of 500,000 square meters. TIKON has also won several national and provincial honors, including the Well-known Trademark of China. The company is expecting a further development into an annual production capacity of 120,000 metric tons within 3 years, according to Chen.

 

Considering cooperation with TITANOS, Chen said, "We believe that TITANOS is among the best partners. Our business volume has grown rapidly and also steadily since we started a cooperative partnership with TITANOS."

Hua Xiaowei, TIKON's Chief Engineer, gave brief details about the perfomance and applications of TIKON titanium dioxide products, of which R36 and R35 are featured. With its high hydrophobic, small particle size, high tinting strength, high blue phase, exceptional processability and outstanding dispersibility, R36 is well-applied to plastic manufacturing, especially in the making of high concentration masterbatch. R35 can be widely used in the producing of coatings with its good waterborne dispersibility, good whiteness, high brightness, stable tinting and extraordinary hiding power in both waterborne acrylate system and oily long-chain alkyd system.

 

Representatives from both TITANOS and TIKON maintained deeper exchanges about applications of TIKON titanium dioxide and current situations of overseas markets, which strengthened confidence for the close partnerships between the two parties.
