The long-awaited New Year did not change domestic TiO2 market a lot, and the titanium dioxide prices still stay low in the first week in 2014.

The main reason for current depression is the ever-shrinking downstream demands, says Ning Kecheng, Manager General of Shanghai Titanos Industry Co., Ltd.

“China is undergoing an industrial transformation now and it takes time to develop new market demands,” Ning says.
