EURO-GRAPH, the European Association of Graphic Paper Producers, published its monthly statistics of the European Graphic Papers Industry, which showed total shipments of graphic papers in September 2013 declined 2.6% (85,000 tonnes) compared to September of 2012, but increased by 3.5% (108,000 tonnes) over August of this year.

 

In September, total European shipments of Newsprint fell 2.9% (24,000 tonnes) compared to September of 2012, but increased 26,000 tonnes versus August.

 

Total shipments of SC-Magazine paper in September increased 1.2% (5,000 tonnes) compared to the same month last year and inched up slightly 2,000 tonnes over August.

 

Total Shipments of Coated Mechanical Reels were down 3.5% in September versus September 2012, but rose by 5,000 tonnes compared to August.

 

Shipments of Uncoated Mechanical papers in September were up 5.2% (11,000 tonnes) over the same month last year, and up 7,000 tonnes over August.
