With the upturns in downstream titanium dioxide markets, titanium ore prices, especially those in Panzhihua region in Sichuan Province, have a small rise last week.

 

Current titanium ore prices:

Panzhihua region, Sichuan Province (exclusive of tax): 860 yuan/mt

Guangdong Province: 1200 yuan/mt

Vietnam (including tax): 1600 yuan/mt

 

Market Forecast:

Slowing growth rate of titanium dioxide market may also pull down the rising titanium ore prices. Though the prices may not see any marked change in the coming week due to the seven-day National Day vacation, they are expected to experience mild fluctuation after the vacation.
