Instead of successive increase, titanium dioxide prices growth slowed last week. Production of titanium dioxide for denitration catalyst was enhanced because of supportive polices, however, critics pointed out that manufacturers should control the production rate to avoid over-capacity.

 

Current titanium dioxide prices (price including tax):

Rutile titanium dioxide: 13,000-14,500 yuan/mt

Anatase titanium dioxide: 11,200-12,500 yuan/mt

 

Market Forecast:

Due to production restriction and the coming of peak season, manufacturers are ready to raise prices. However, the market condition is still far from satisfactory, and the prices are more likely to keep steady.
