With the upturns in titanium dioxide markets, titanium ore prices have a small rise last week. Due to the long lasting rainy days in Sichuan province, operation rate of titanium dioxide has dropped a little.

 

Current titanium ore prices:

Panzhihua region, Sichuan Province (exclusive of tax): 820-860 yuan/mt

Yunnan Province: 820-870 yuan/mt

Vietnam (exclusive of tax): 1600 yuan/mt

 

Market Forecast:

Considering the rising demands from titanium dioxide markets, titanium ore prices may increase slightly. However, it is not that easy for the prices to back to the top, at least in September.
