Desert Paper & Envelope Co.-a 40-year-old Albuquerque company that distributes paper, packaging and supplies-has acquired McClintock Paper Co., also of Albuquerque. Terms were not disclosed.
 
McClintock Paper Co. was founded in 1973 by R. E. “Mac” McClintock and is the exclusive supplier of New Mexico Bond paper.
 
Desert Paper & Envelope also is New Mexico’s only envelope-manufacturing company, the company said in a news release.
 
“We are excited about the addition of McClintock Paper Co. and the New Mexico Bond paper line to our portfolio,” Desert Paper & Envelope CEO Ella Leeper said in a statement. “We look forward to the next chapter as we evolve with our customers and embrace new technology.”
