Titanium Dioxide Prices (8/26-8/30)

Leading titanium dioxide enterprises took little or no action despite that a few manufacturers announced price increase last week. Domestic titanium dioxide prices did not see much fluctuation and transaction prices are mostly 500 yuan/mt lower than the quoted ones.

Current titanium dioxide prices (price including tax):

Rutile titanium dioxide: 14,000-15,200 yuan/mt

Anatase titanium dioxide: 12,000-13,000 yuan/mt

Market Forecast:

Though the just coming “Golden September” gives confidence to titanium dioxide manufacturers, small purchases from downstream users prevent the titanium dioxide prices from sharp rises. It is forecast that the prices will climb slightly in short term to see whether there is any chance for further increase.
