Titanium ore prices fell slightly last week. Volumes in Hainan region were better than those in the rest, but the transaction prices were lower.

Imported ore markets got more inquiries, focusing on high-quality varieties, than domestic ones. According to statistics provided by General Administration of Customs, The import volume of titanium ore in July was 198,331.82 tonnes, declining by 37.31% year on year and 8.22% quarter-on-quarter.

Current titanium ore prices:
Panzhihua region, Sichuan Province: 850-900 yuan/mt
Yunnan Province: 820-870 yuan/mt
Vietnam (exclusive of tax): 1360-1400 yuan/mt

Market Forecast:
Titanium ore prices are less likely to keep dropping as current prices are almost the cost.
