Current problems in China’s titanium industry, such as unsustainable expansion, over-capacity and dispersed resources, indicate that a transformation and upgrading is deadly needed.

After the rapid growth in past decade, China’s titanium industry is now facing a critical period of transformation, and a new industrial structure is imperative considering the ever-changing industrial chain.

We have to admit, it is so far unable to make China less reliant on foreign titanium raw materials or advanced technologies, and most of domestic high titanium slag production equipment will be weeded out for high energy consumption. The popularization of advanced manufacturing technique has to speed up.
