Shrinking market demands for titanium dioxide, the main user of ilmenite, have largely pulled back ilmenite sales. Some ilmenite manufacturers announced price decrease by CNY10 per tonne last week.

 

Prevailing price of ilmenite in Panzhihua, Sichuan Province (46%) is CNY570-600 per tonne, and that of 47% ilmenite is CNY550-600 per tonne, both excluding tax.

 

Prevailing price of titanium middlings (38%) in Pan-xi region is CNY370-400 per tonne, excluding tax.
