China’s largest titanium dioxide manufacturer LOMON has announced price increase for all of its titanium dioxide products by CNY600 per tonne, indicating that its titanium dioxide product prices have all surpassed CNY12,000 per tonne.

 

According to Yangxun, an analyst of 100PPI, LOMON’s move may greatly encourage the leading domestic manufacturers who have been raising titanium dioxide prices by a slight to moderate amount since March. Yang also says that the news may also accelerate the annexation and reorganization of Chinese titanium dioxide producing industry.

Rutile titanium dioxide: 12,000-13,000 yuan/mt

Anatase titanium dioxide: 10,000-10,500 yuan/mt
