Latest titanium dioxide prices (including tax) in China:

Rutile titanium dioxide: 11,200-12,800 yuan/mt

Anatase titanium dioxide: 8,500-10,200 yuan/mt

 

Market forecast:

A few rutile titanium dioxide manufacturers cut the prices in cases of cash transaction as the Chinese New Year is approaching, making the average transaction price drop by RMB300 yuan per tonne last week.

For anatase type, the average price climbed by RMB200 yuan per tonne, mainly due to low inventory.

In 2014, anatase titanium dioxide capacity has shrinked by 60,000 tonnes.
