In a piece of markup sound of rutile titanium pigment, the manufacturers of anatase titanium pigment  are unable to bear and in recent time, have raised the market price, but the market demands  didn't get better. The expectations of chasing after profits failed and actual transaction price basically didn't achieve the breakthrough in the former market price.

The scientific name of Titanium pigment is Titanium Dioxide. It has Rutile (Rutile) and Anatase (Anatase) of two kinds of crystal type. Anatase titanium dioxide's whiteness is good, but tinting strength is only 70% of rutile type's, and in weathering aspects, joined anatase titanium dioxide's specimen, after only a year later, it starts to crack or fragmentally flake, but joined rutile titanium dioxide specimen, after 10 years,  its appearance only has a small change.

Because of better tinting strength and weathering ability of the rutile titanium dioxide, plastic coloring uses rutile titanium dioxide better. According to the manufacturing process of titanium pigment, there are sulfuric acid method and chloride process, and two kinds of methods can produce anatase and rutile titanium pigment.
