Weak demands from downstream titanium dioxide manufacturers have, to some extent, dragged down the mining industries. The overall operating rate of titanium ore mining industry is ever-shrinking, and small manufacturers have to undersell inventory products to withdraw funds.

 

Titanium concentrate prices in Panzhihua, Sichuan Province, now hovers around RMB500-530 yuan per tonne, exclusive of tax.

 

Market Forecast:

Titanium concentrate prices in overseas markets climbed last week, though slowly. However, the rising trend may not last long, and for domestic markets, the prices may stay low till the end of the year.
