A new market study by TechSci Research has estimateda growth of the coating additives market in China with a CAGR of 12 % until 2019.

The study titled "China Coating Additives Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2019" directly links the development to the general growth of the Chinese coatings industry as well as the increasing demand of high quality coatings in end-user industries such as architecture, automotive, marine and shipping, wood and plastic coatings. Owing to these growing requests, many large coating manufacturers such as AkzoNobel, BASF, PPG Industries, VALSPAR and Axalta are intensifying their production capacities in China. "Products such as silicone based additives, multifunctional additives and green coating additives are expected to witness robust demand, thereby boosting the country's coating additives market over the next few years", says Karan Chechi, research director.
