Monthly PC production at Kazanorgsintez exceeds 6,000 tonnes, with production rates 100%. 30,500 tonnes of PC, which made 83% from the total PC produced in the first six months of the year, occurred for extrusion grades. 973 tonnes of them were delivered in the foreign markets. Thus, 29,500 tonnes of PC for sheet extrusion were sold in the domestic market.

 

Kazanorgsintez plans to adopt a policy of supporting Russian producers and strengthen its position in the domestic market. At the moment, the most popular grade in the Russian market is extrusion grade, which is the biggest sector in the market, with 82% from the total PC market in Russia. In this regard, exports of injection moulding grades to China and other countries became less significant. 

 

Kazanorgsintez is the only producer of polycarbonate in Russia. The capacity of the plant is 65,000 tonnes/year. 

 

According to the official statement of Kazanorgsintez's representatives, the plan will be shut for maintenance works from 21, July to 17, August.
