CORONA, Calif.—Elastomer Technologies Inc. has opened a new plant in Corona, expanding its production operation in the process.

The molder of rubber and silicone products also is adding new equipment at the new 17,000-sq.-ft. facility, which is significantly larger than its former site in the city.

A class 100,000 clean room designed to support liquid injection molding and compression molding of medical device components is also located at the new plant.

"In the face of recession, we are excited to provide a better platform for our service," said ETI President Randy Lester. "The larger facility will improve throughput and provide the space for our business to continue its growth."
