A leading manufacturer based in South-west China has raised its titanium dioxide prices by 300 yuan/mt last week despite unfavorable market conditions, followed by some other manufacturers in East China.

The main reason for the leading manufacturer’s price increase proves to be growing export to India. However, it does not mean prosperity of exports when it comes to the entire China market, and the up-trend may not stay long.
