Weekly Report: Titanium Dioxide Prices (4/21-4/25)

Time: 2014-04-28 Source from: www.tio2.cn

A few of East China-based manufacturers have raised titanium dioxide prices by 200-400 yuan/mt, while some Central China ones have announced increases by 400-500 yuan/mt. The prices in South-west China are also expected to see further rises.

According to TITANOS General Manager Ning Kecheng, the main reason for recent price increases may be export demand growth, but long-run losses also contribute to domestic manufacturers’ frequent moves of raising prices hoping to make up part of the loss.

Current titanium dioxide prices (including tax):
Rutile titanium dioxide: 12,000-13,500 yuan/mt
Anatase titanium dioxide: 10,000-11,000 yuan/mt
