【Description】:
CLiQSPERSE 129 is a specially modified humectant for aqueous or universal glycol-free pigment concentrates. The product is low in VOC and is used for the production of VOC-compliant pigment concentrates.

CLiQSPERSE 129 extends open-time and inhibits drying of aqueous pigment concentrates, whichis particularly important in tinting machines or during storage. It sufficiently replaces glycols andwill not decrease film hardness or moisture resistance in the final paint film at normal loading levels.

CLiQSPERSE 129 provides dispersing and wetting properties for inorganic and organic pigments. Pigment concentrates could be formulated with the product alone or in combination with other wetting and dispersing agents to maximise colour development and colour acceptance with decorative coating systems.

【Level of Use】:

CLiQSPERSE 129 is best dissolved in water prior to pigment addition. It is used at loadings between 5 to 20% on total formulation. The required loading level depends strongly on the pigment nature and required humectant functionality.

CLiQSPERSE 129 shows a broad compatibility with a large variety of latex based systems. As for all additives it is advised to run a loading ladder study and to check product compatibility in each system.

CLiQSPERSE 129 can be combined with anionic, polymeric or non-ionic wetting and dispersing agents to improve colour development and colour acceptance further.
