Applications:

M-CDEA is an excellent chain extender for elastomeric polyurethanes (PU) and also a curing agent for epoxides (EP). It provides improved mechanical and dynamic properties which cannot be achieved with standard formulations. It may be used as a precursor for polyimides and as an intermediate for organic syntheses. PU formulations based on M-CDEA are suitable for cast elastomers, RIM elastomers, coatings, adhesives, elastomeric foams and thermoplastic PU (TPU). In EP it is suitable for tooling, prepregs and chemical resistant coatings.
