“On the afternoon of July 8, organized by the administration department, Shanghai TITANOS invited Mr. Huang from Shanghai H-GRACE Medical technology Co., Ltd. to conduct on-site training on CPR first aid skills for all staff in the multi-function hall on the first floor of the company.”

   According to teacher Huang, about 544000 people die of sudden cardiac death every year in China; On average, 1500 people die of cardiac arrest every day; One person died suddenly every minute; However, in China, the success rate of pre hospital emergency rescue is very low, even less than 1%. Among the 38 cities in the mainland that have opened subways, 20 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hangzhou, are equipped with AED (automatic external defibrillator) in their subway stations. The "emergency device AED" is gradually popularized throughout the country.

    In this training, Mr. Huang of Shanghai H-GRACE Medical Co., Ltd. combined with the characteristics of the company's employees' work and life, explained the first aid knowledge and skills related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation in easy to understand language. In order to make everyone master the technical points and correct operation methods of cardiopulmonary resuscitation faster and better, we carried a manikin for on-site demonstration, and guided everyone to carry out operation drills, hand-in-hand teaching, face-to-face teaching. We actively participated in the practical operation, and gave guidance and comments one by one.

   Through this training activity, the staff understood the basic principles, methods and steps of cardiopulmonary resuscitation emergency rescue, and had a more specific understanding of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, so as to further enhance the ability of emergency rescue, and master the rescue skills and operation process of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The whole training is vivid and easy to understand, and the scene atmosphere is active.

What is AED

AED - automatic external defibrillator, also known as automatic external defibrillator, automatic electric defibrillator, automatic defibrillator, cardiac defibrillator and fool electric defibrillator, is a kind of portable medical equipment, which can diagnose specific arrhythmia and give electric defibrillation. It can be used by non professionals to rescue patients with cardiac arrest. In the case of cardiac arrest, the most effective way to stop sudden death is to use automatic external defibrillator (AED) for defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation within the "golden 4 minutes" of the best rescue time.

When to use AED?

AED is used when sudden death occurs. The common arrhythmias of sudden death are ventricular fibrillation (VF) or pulseless ventricular tachycardia. The serious consequence of ventricular fibrillation is cardiac arrest. The most effective way to treat ventricular fibrillation is electric defibrillation. The time of defibrillation is fleeting. If defibrillation is not done in time, cardiac arrest will occur in a few minutes. According to statistics, every minute of delay in the use of AED increases the mortality by 7% - 10%. The earlier AED is used, the higher the survival rate of patients. Therefore, when patients suddenly die, the nearest AED should be taken as soon as possible and used as soon as possible!

AED operation process

1. When someone suddenly falls to the ground and the environment is safe, approach the patient, judge the patient as unconscious, no breathing or only dying sigh like breathing, immediately ask for help from the person nearby, dial 120 and get the nearest AED, and the second witness starts CPR;

2. After the AED is retrieved, immediately press the "open" button or lift the cover to turn on the AED power supply and operate according to the AED prompt;

3. According to the AED prompt, open the patient's clothes, expose the chest skin, tear off the inner electrode patch film of AED, and stick the electrode patch according to the position drawn on the electrode patch.
